Who will receive the Universal Credit Payment?
The UK people can receive Universal Credit payments if they need help to manage their living costs. The recipients can belong to the working class (including self-employed or part-time people), out of work, and people who cannot work due to health conditions.
If you meet the eligibility requirements for the Universal credits, you can claim the benefits:
- You must be living in the UK
- Your age should be 18 years or over to claim the Universal Credit
- You have £16,000 or less money in your bank account, investments, etc.
- You are registered under the State Pension age.
- You and your family should have the settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme if you are an EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen.
- You and your partner need to make a joint claim for your household, even when the partner is not eligible for the UGD credit.
