Saskatchewan is one of the provinces in Canada that has an income support program called theSIS, which sets an allowance for both individuals and families who belong to the low-income category. Without it, most of the residents face misery, unemployment, and other financial problems.
2024 SIS Payment Dates
SIS is a monthly payment; recipients can receive the funds through direct deposit or by mailed cheque. Payments to individuals vary depending on income, family size, and need. Distinct financial benefits are evidenced in recipients of all sizes.
Applicants can request to have the funds directly deposited, usually assuring faster access to the funds, or by cheque through the mail, which will take longer to arrive.
