COLC Payment Date, Payout Amount, Eligibility, Last Date to Apply!

The South Australian Government has announced a one-off $255.60 Cost of Living Concession Payment (COLC) for qualified Centrelink recipients. Payment has already begun in August 2024, and it is going to be distributed by December 2024, the last date to claim it is December 31.

Between August and December 2024, over 210,000 South Australian households will get a $255.60 Cost of Living Concession (COLC) payment right into their bank accounts. Doubling what renters and qualifying seniors once got, this new payment level puts it in line with what homeowners-occupiers have been getting.

The former payment was $122 for renters and qualifying seniors ($243.90 for homeowners); the new payment is $255.60.
